Oyebanji Launches 5,000 Canvassers for Re-Election

On Friday, Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji inaugurated 5,000 canvassers to support his re-election bid in the upcoming governorship election scheduled for June 20. The event, attended by key figures including Deputy Governor Monisad Afuy and Speaker Adeoy Aribasoye, emphasized the importance of mobilizing voters and maintaining peace during the electoral process.

Oyebanji expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his support and called on the people of Ekiti to participate actively in the electoral process by obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards. He highlighted the APC's goal to secure a significant vote margin in the election and encouraged all political parties to engage in a decent contest.

The canvassers will work to deliver at least 125,000 votes, reflecting grassroots support for Oyebanji's administration, which he described as humanitarian and inclusive. The initiative aims to track voter engagement through a dedicated website.
