Ekiti Farmers Praise Philanthropist for Agricultural Support

Farmers in Ekiti State expressed their gratitude towards philanthropist Dr. Oluwatosin Ademola Ojo for his ongoing support in agricultural development.

During a meeting held in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti Farmer Forum described the proposed Ekiti Farm Summit as a significant step towards revitalizing the agricultural sector and improving the welfare of farmers. They acknowledged the initiatives by the Sade Ademola Foundation aimed at providing essential agricultural resources.

The farmers emphasized that strategic support interventions in the agricultural sector are crucial for achieving food security and economic growth in the state. They called on stakeholders to prioritize agriculture, which they described as the backbone of the state's economy.

Additionally, they congratulated Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his re-election, viewing it as a reflection of the people's confidence in his administration. The farmers also pledged their support for President Bola Tinubu's candidacy for the APC in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
