YPAT Distributes Educational Materials to Ekiti Pupils

The Young Professionals for Tinubu 2027 (YPAT) initiated the "Tinubu Back-to-School Programme" in Ikere-Ekiti, distributing educational materials to 1,500 pupils from 15 selected public primary schools across Ekiti State. The program was launched by Barrister Abimbola Daramola, the Ekiti State Coordinator of YPAT and a member of the Governing Council of Usman Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.
The event featured dignitaries including Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye, the representative of the Ekiti State Deputy Governor, and other local officials. The initiative provided school uniforms, sandals, school bags, and over 5,000 writing materials.
Additionally, it included an empowerment component for 50 parents, engaging local artisans such as tailors and shoemakers to produce the materials. Daramola stated that the program aims to support pupils and their parents while enhancing children's confidence as they return to school.
The launch in Ikere-Ekiti marks the first phase, with plans for further distribution in other local government areas.
