Ekiti State 2026 Budget Hits N415.57 Billion, Governor Prioritizes Development and Job Creation

Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has presented the 2026 budget of N415.57 billion, marking an 11% rise from 2025. The budget focuses on deepening development gains, with recurrent expenditure at N221.87 billion and capital expenditure at N193.70 billion.

Revenue sources include federal allocations, taxes, independent revenues, and international donor agencies. The budget aligns with the state's development plan and medium-term expenditure framework.
