Enugu Rangers Defeat El-Kanemi Warriors 2-0 in NPFL

Enugu Rangers triumphed over El-Kanemi Warriors with a score of 2-0 in a match held at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, also known as the Cathedral, on the latest matchday of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) 2025/26 season. With this victory, Rangers solidified their position at the top of the league table with 54 points.

The first goal came from Daniel Itodo, who capitalized on a scramble from a corner kick in the 40th minute. The second goal was netted by Godwin Obaj in the 78th minute, sealing the defeat for El-Kanemi.

Despite their efforts to equalize, the Rangers' defense held firm. Other notable matches included Ikorodu City FC's 2-1 win over Kun Khalifat FC and Kano Pillars FC's 2-0 victory against Enyimba FC, which deepened Enyimba's struggles at the bottom of the table.
