Shehu Sani Critiques El-Rufai's Reaction to Nomination Loss

Shehu Sani, the former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central, has publicly criticized President Bola Tinubu's administration, specifically addressing the bitterness of former Governor Nasir El-Rufai following his loss of a ministerial nomination. In an interview on Channel Television's Hard Copy program, Sani responded to social media reactions regarding El-Rufai's attacks on Tinubu.

He stated that El-Rufai's discontent stemmed from the disappointment of not securing a ministerial position. Sani also noted that the public's sympathy towards El-Rufai is not reflective of the sentiments within Kaduna State.

Furthermore, he highlighted El-Rufai's current criticisms of the government, particularly concerning issues of rule of law, human rights, and democracy, which he argued contradict El-Rufai's own practices during his tenure as governor.
