Deji Adeyanju Calls El-Rufai an Unrepentant Liar

Human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju has publicly dismissed allegations against former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai regarding the importation of thallium sulfate, a highly toxic substance, from Poland. Adeyanju's comments were made in response to a letter addressed to the National Security Adviser’s Office by El-Rufai, who is accused of importing this dangerous chemical.

The National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, has yet to respond to these allegations, which have generated mixed reactions among members of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The APC has outrightly rejected the claims made by the opposition, calling for an immediate investigation.

Adeyanju, in a post on social media, expressed skepticism about the integrity of El-Rufai, describing him as an "unrepentant liar" and a "bigot" who engages in propaganda. He emphasized that while it is possible that the office imported toxic materials, he cannot trust El-Rufai's assertions.
