Elevate Africa Fellowship Announces 2026 Faculty Expansion

The Elevate Africa Fellowship has expanded its faculty lineup for the 2026 program, as announced by founder Mfon Ekpo. This Pan-African leadership initiative aims to bring together mid-career leaders from 18 African countries for an immersive leadership experience focused on systemic change.

The fellowship will take place in Kigali, Rwanda, where 23 selected fellows will participate. The program addresses the critical gap in African development by fostering stronger connections among leaders who are already driving measurable impact across various sectors.

Mfon Ekpo has a notable background, having worked with emerging leaders across Africa, Europe, North America, and Central America. She has been involved in significant leadership initiatives, including the Mandela Washington Fellowship and the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI).

The Elevate Africa Fellowship has previously included distinguished faculty members such as former Nigerian Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and former President of Mauritius Dr.

Ameenah Gurib-Fakim.
