Ellah Lakes Plc filed an operational update on 23 June 2026 disclosing two milestones: the acquisition of expellers and presses for its Palm Kernel Oil Mill and the growth of its piggery operation beyond 1,000 pigs. The filing outlines the company's progress in executing its integrated agribusiness strategy across processing and livestock verticals.

Ellah Lakes Plc has announced two operational milestones as part of its integrated agribusiness strategy. The company has acquired the first set of expellers and presses for its Palm Kernel Oil (PKO) Mill. Installation is expected to be completed by the end of Q3 2026, after which the company plans to begin producing Palm Kernel Oil (PKO) and Palm Kernel Cake (PKC). The company stated that these products will enable it to capture additional value from its existing oil palm operations and broaden its product base.

On the livestock side, the company disclosed that its piggery has surpassed 1,000 pigs, which it describes as positioning it among leading piggery operators in Edo State. Ellah Lakes has also commenced the sale of gilts, which it identified as a new revenue line. The company stated plans to proceed with the installation of an abattoir and cold chain facility as the next phase of its livestock operations.

CEO Chuka Mordi commented that the milestones reflect ongoing execution of the company's strategy to move into higher-value processing while scaling cash-generating verticals. Ellah Lakes is headquartered in Benin City, Edo State, and has been listed on the NGX under the ticker ELLAHLAKES.
