VP Shettima Urges Nigerians to Embrace Tolerance and Unity in Plateau State Visit

Vice President Kashim Shettima visited Plateau State and urged Nigerians to embrace tolerance and unity to overcome factors threatening division. He emphasized the significance of peaceful coexistence, stating that the country's unity and shared heritage outweigh divisive elements.

Shettima commended traditional rulers for their critical role in nation-building and promoting peace. During the visit, Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang and political leaders lauded the improved relationship between the ruling party, Progress Congress, and the government.

The Vice President expressed optimism that cooperation would enhance Plateau State's development and contribute to national peace. The Gbong Gwom Jos called for improved security across Plateau State and appreciated the efforts of security agencies.

Shettima's entourage included APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, and former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Idri Wase.
