Tinubu Praises Mbah's Leadership, Urges Focus on Growth

President Bola Tinubu commended Enugu State Governor Dr. Peter Mbah for his transformative leadership during a meeting with Mbah and a delegation of Enugu State leaders at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa.

Tinubu expressed appreciation for Mbah's efforts in developing the state and encouraged him to maintain focus on his responsibilities while ignoring detractors. He emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving Nigeria's vision and promised to expedite actions on the Port Harcourt-Enugu rail line to enhance economic growth in the Southeast region.

Tinubu also highlighted the need for a long-term outlook for the nation’s economy and the significance of teamwork at all levels of government. Mbah declared his total support for Tinubu's presidency in 2027 and expressed commitment to making Enugu a hub for energy and development, particularly through the establishment of a gas pipeline to connect the state to the national grid.
