In contrast, Manchester United, managed by Michael Carrick, suffered a surprising 2-0 defeat to newly promoted Hull City, raising concerns about their performance and strategy. McDubus noted that Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool, all with new managers, might pose a greater challenge to Arsenal than Manchester United.
