Joe Cole Names Xabi Alonso as Ideal Chelsea Manager

Former Chelsea star Joe Cole has identified Xabi Alonso, the former head coach of Bayer Leverkusen and Real Madrid, as the best candidate to coach Chelsea. Cole made these remarks while speaking to Paddy Power, emphasizing that Alonso is currently without a job after being sacked by Real Madrid earlier in the year.

Cole described Alonso as a "winner" and expressed his admiration for the way Alonso has managed the Bayer Leverkusen team. He noted that Alonso has been hard done by during his time at Real Madrid, understanding the challenges of managing a massive club.

Cole expressed disappointment that he does not believe Alonso has even been considered for the Chelsea position following the recent dismissal of manager Liam Rosenior just a few days ago.
