Michael Jordan Leads Tributes at Guardiola's Farewell

Approximately 19,000 supporters gathered at the Co-op Live arena for the farewell celebration, which included emotional speeches and video tributes. Jordan congratulated Guardiola on his remarkable career, referencing his love for golf and wishing him good luck in retirement.

Former City captain Vincent Kompany, now with Bayern Munich, made a surprise appearance, drawing cheers from the crowd. Other tributes came from English golfer Tommi Fleetwood and veteran football manager Neil Warnock, who praised Guardiola's influence on the game.

The event also featured appearances from Guardiola's children, former captain Fernandinho, ex-director Txiki Begiristain, and goalkeeper Ederson, celebrating the achievements during Guardiola's reign. City striker Khadija Shaw announced a new four-year contract during the event.
