Aguero Names Aston Villa as Title Contender Against Arsenal

Sergio Aguero, a Manchester City legend, has named Aston Villa as a team to challenge Arsenal for the Premier League title this season. Aguero emphasized that Arsenal, under the management of Mikel Arteta, is the team to beat after winning the Premier League last season.

He stated, “I think they [Arsenal] will be the team to beat for everyone else. They have continued with a very clear playing philosophy.” Aguero also pointed out that traditional title contenders such as Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur are currently in rebuilding phases with new managers.

He specifically mentioned Chelsea with Xabi Alonso, Manchester City with Enzo Maresca, Liverpool with Andoni Iraola, Tottenham with Roberto De Zerbi, and Manchester United with Michael Carrick. Aguero's comments come after Arsenal secured their first Premier League victory of the season against Coventry City at the Emirates Stadium.
