Eterna PLC Reports N6.8 Billion Profit for 2025

Eterna PLC announced a pre-tax profit of N6.8 billion for the year ending December 31, 2025, marking a 52.96% increase from N4.48 billion in 2024. The growth was significantly influenced by a profit of N5.48 billion in the fourth quarter of 2024, which represented a 72.52% jump from N3.17 billion in the same quarter of the previous year.

Quarterly sales rose to N89.6 billion, while full-year revenue stood at N302.5 billion, slightly down from N313.6 billion in 2024. Fuel sales accounted for 86.56% of turnover, with lubricants also contributing to profits despite softer revenue.

Eterna recorded a net exchange gain of N107.67 million, contrasting with a prior year's loss of N15.79 billion. Financial costs decreased to N2.4 billion from N7.69 billion.

The balance sheet showed total assets rising to N93.4 billion, primarily due to inventory increases, while total liabilities were N37.99 billion. Eterna's shares closed at N32.50 on February 23, 2026, reflecting a 5.35% gain year-to-date.
