CITN President Emphasizes Role of Ethical Professionals in Tax Reform Success

The President of the Charter Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Innocent Ohagwa, stressed the crucial role of ethical tax professionals in the success of implementing new tax reforms. At the institute's recent fellowship confer award dinner in Lagos, where 685 members were elevated to fellowship status, Ohagwa highlighted the need for efficient and ethical tax practices in light of Nigeria's ongoing tax reform.

Dr. Yemi Sanni, the former chairman of the membership profession conduct committee, emphasized the importance of upholding integrity and ethical standards in the tax profession.

Afolak Oso, the CITN Registrar and Chief Executive, noted that fellowship represents excellence in service and encourages fellows to actively serve the institute.
