Byuan Endorses Tinubu, Seeks Benue Governorship in 2027

Dr. Mathia Byuan, a former executive director at the Federal Housing Authority in Abuja, purchased a nomination form on Friday to express his interest in contesting the governorship of Benue State in 2027 under the Labour Party (LP).

Byuan reiterated his support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, stating that Tinubu's administration has transformed the country and deserves to complete various ongoing projects in Benue State. He called on the people of Benue to support Tinubu's re-election, emphasizing the need for a rescue mission to address insecurity and poor governance in the state.

Byuan expressed his desire to serve the state and highlighted the importance of prioritizing health, education, and infrastructure. He also mentioned that he aims to contest for the governorship on the platform of the LP, having previously been associated with the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State.
