Martin Backs Uzun-Osimhen Duo at Galatasaray Pursuit

Former coach Christian Martin has endorsed the potential partnership between Can Uzun and Victor Osimhen if Galatasaray successfully signs Uzun from Eintracht Frankfurt. Galatasaray is actively pursuing Uzun to bolster their squad ahead of the new season, with ongoing negotiations with Frankfurt.

Martin highlighted Uzun's creative abilities, which could complement Osimhen's pace and physicality in attack. He stated that Uzun's skill in exploiting gaps between the opponent's midfield and defense would be highly effective alongside a dynamic striker like Osimhen.

Galatasaray has made a slow start to the transfer window, having completed only the loan signing of Lesley Ugochukwu. Reports indicate that Frankfurt values Uzun at around €60 million, while Galatasaray aims for a lower fee, potentially structuring a deal worth €35 million plus €5 million in bonuses.
