Rashidi Ladoja Crowned 44th Olubadan in Grand Ibadan Ceremony

Former Oyo State Governor Rashidi Ladoja has been officially crowned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland in a grand traditional ceremony. Ladoja received the crown at the Ose Meji Temple in Ibadan and was adorned with symbolic Akoko leaf at the Labosinde Compound.

The ceremony took place at the historic Mapo Hall, where Governor Seyi Makinde presented Ladoja with the staff of office. Ladoja succeeds the late Oba Owolabi Olakulehin as the new Olubadan, following a colorful installation ceremony attended by dignitaries, including the Alaafin of Oyo and the Soun of Ogbomoso.
