Ex-Kano Anti-Graft Chair Arrested Over Corruption Allegations Involving Ganduje

The former anti-corruption commission chairman in Kano was arrested by Nigerian police in connection with a corruption case involving ex-governor Ganduje and his family. The case revolves around the alleged transfer of state ownership in the Dala Inland Dry Port to private individuals, including Ganduje's children.

The arrested chairman was whisked away to Abuja and faced charges of defamation and malicious prosecution. Ganduje and his children are set to stand trial over the multibillion naira scandal.

The former chairman was released on bail pending further legal proceedings.
