Ex-Labour Party Candidates Urge INEC Compliance with Court Verdicts

The Labour Party Candidates Forum (LPCF) has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to respect court rulings regarding the leadership of the Labour Party. Former candidates like Okem Adejoh urged INEC to acknowledge the expiration of Julius Abur's tenure as the national chairman, as per Supreme Court and Federal High Court judgments.

The forum expressed concerns over INEC's alleged disregard for court decisions, emphasizing the importance of upholding the rule of law within the party. They highlighted the recognition of interim leaders like Nenadi Usman and Darlington Nwokocha.
