Frank Ilaboya, the former chairman of Owan West Local Government Area and ex-chairman of the Edo Football Association, has obtained a nomination form to contest for a seat in the Edo State House of Assembly, representing Owan West. Speaking to journalists in Benin City on Friday, Ilaboya expressed confidence in his chances and praised the internal processes of the Progressive Congress (APC), emphasizing his determination and commitment to the party.

He highlighted the importance of a level playing field for all aspirants and noted that the party has demonstrated democratic principles by making nomination forms available without stress. Ilaboya expressed optimism about the upcoming primaries, citing his strong grassroots connections and the goodwill of the people.

He also affirmed his belief in the APC's ability to conduct credible primaries and described the party's leadership as fair-minded and committed to internal democracy. Ilaboya is preparing to work hard for victory, expressing faith that success is possible with God's grace.
