Ex-Minister Sirika Accuses Airlines of Sabotaging Nigeria Air Project

Former Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, accused Nigerian airlines including Air Peace, Azman Air, and United Nigeria Airlines of sabotaging the establishment of the proposed national airline, Nigeria Air. Sirika alleged that these carriers, through legal actions, hindered the project's progress, particularly challenging a partnership agreement with Ethiopian Airlines.

He refuted claims of mismanagement of funds, explaining the budget allocations for the project. Sirika emphasized the need for a national carrier to enhance local capacity.
