Ex-PDP Governorship Candidate, Isa Galaudu Resigns from Party

Isa Galaudu, a former governorship candidate for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Kebbi State, has announced his resignation from the party. Galaudu, who represented the Kebbi North Senatorial District from 2011 to 2015, cited threats to the party's survival as the reason for his decision.

In a resignation letter dated August 20 and addressed to the ward chairman of PDP in Augie North, Alhaji Muhammadu Aliyu Danbuga, Galaudu stated that his resignation was effective immediately. While he did not disclose his next political move, Galaudu is considered a significant political figure in Kebbi State and has a background as a former banker and board member of Usman Dan Fodio University in Sokoto.

His departure is expected to have an impact on the political landscape in Kebbi.
