Lagos State Government Closes Major Routes for Eyo Festival

The Lagos State Government has announced the closure of vehicular movement along major routes on Lagos Island in preparation for the Eyo Festival scheduled for December 27, 2025. The closure will affect several key areas including Third Mainland Bridge, Adeniji Adel Road, Sura Junction, Simpson Bridge, Obalende Bridge, Onikan Roundabout, and Apongbon Underbridge.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and plan their journeys accordingly to avoid disruptions during the festival procession.
