Lagos Announces Traffic Diversions for Eyo Festival Celebrations

Lagos State government has declared temporary road closures and traffic diversions ahead of the Eyo Festival scheduled to take place at Tafawa Balewa Square on Lagos Island. The festival, a major cultural event in Lagos, will honor departed monarchs, chiefs, and notable individuals including Abibat Mogaji and Mobolaji Johnson.

Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized the festival's significance as a symbol of Lagos' cultural identity. Motorists are urged to plan their journeys in advance and utilize alternative routes to avoid disruptions.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) will be on the ground to ensure effective traffic control during the festival.
