Nigerian Regulator NUPRC Remits N6.2tn Revenue Amid Oil Fluctuations

The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) remitted N6.2 trillion to the federal account from January to September 2025, contributing significantly to the country's revenue. The fluctuating crude oil prices and production levels affected the revenue, with a shortfall of N462.81 billion.

NUPRC's total revenue for the period was N12.25 trillion, showing a 282% increase from the previous year. This robust revenue stream is crucial for funding infrastructure, social programs, and economic growth in Nigeria.
