FAAN Launches Go-Cashless Card Pick-Up Points Nationwide

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has announced the establishment of pick-up points for the Go-Cashless cards, which will be available at designated branches of Fidel Bank PLC starting March 16. This initiative is part of FAAN's compliance with the federal government's directive for ministries, departments, and agencies to adopt a cashless system by the March 1 deadline.

Henri Agbebir, the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at FAAN, emphasized the importance of this transition in enhancing transparency, reducing revenue leakage, and improving transaction traceability across government operations. He urged the public to understand and cooperate during the transition period, assuring airport users that the Go-Cashless cards will remain available at the designated points until the deadline.

This initiative aims to promote faster, safer, and more convenient transactions at airports nationwide.
