FAAN to Clear Illegal Encroachments for Safety on Lagos Airport Road

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) is taking steps to remove illegal encroachments by businesses along the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA) Road in Lagos. The move aims to enhance safety and environmental sanitation.

FAAN's Managing Director, Olubunmi Kuku, emphasized the urgent need for businesses to vacate the space they occupy to prevent safety hazards. FAAN will work with the Lagos State Government and security agencies to clear the area.

Kuku highlighted the environmental degradation and safety risks posed by the current situation and assured ongoing public awareness efforts for a safer environment.
