Peter Okoye Addresses P-Square Rift, Blames Family Betrayal

Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr. P, has publicly dismissed claims that women are responsible for the ongoing crisis within the Okoye family and the P-Square music group.

He insists that the issues stem from long-standing disagreements, trust, and loyalty problems in managing their music business. In a post shared on Wednesday, he emphasized that the conflict dates back over 20 years, long before any of them were married.

Mr. P highlighted the emotional toll of the situation and the necessity of setting boundaries, even with family members.

He confirmed that the dispute is currently unresolved and is being handled in court, with legal proceedings ongoing. The rift involves his twin brother, Paul Okoye, and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, who is facing charges of economic and financial crimes by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) related to money laundering and royalty disputes.

The next court date is set for May 15, 2026.
