He accuses Governor Makinde of orchestrating a political plot against the traditional ruler, suggesting that the governor's actions are motivated by Ladoja's failure to attend a recent coronation ceremony in Ibadan. Fayose's allegations indicate an ongoing rift between Makinde and Ladoja, with claims that the governor is preparing to initiate a query against the Olubadan, potentially leading to an impeachment process.

This situation is further complicated by a denial from the Chief Whip of the Oyo State House of Assembly regarding any links between lawmakers and an impeachment of Governor Makinde.
