FCCPC Seals Ikeja Electric HQ Over Consumer Rights Violations in Lagos

The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) sealed the headquarters of Ikeja Electric Distribution Company (IKEDC) in Alausa, Lagos, for alleged consumer rights violations. The action was taken following IKEDC's repeated failure to comply with directives aimed at protecting consumers.

The FCCPC's Director of Surveillance and Investigation, Bola Adeyinka, stated that the seal will remain until full compliance is achieved. Ikeja Electric has not officially responded to the situation.
