FCMB Group PLC Q3 2026 Results Filing Delayed to December 2026

FCMB Group Plc held a Board of Directors meeting on October 23, 2026, at which the Board approved the Group's Unaudited Financial Statements for the quarter ended September 30, 2026. The actual filing of those statements will not occur immediately, as the company has obtained an extension from the Nigerian Exchange Limited to file on or before December 29, 2026.

FCMB Group Plc convened a Board of Directors meeting on Friday, October 23, 2026. At that meeting, the Board approved the Group's Unaudited Financial Statements for the quarter ended September 30, 2026.

The company had previously secured an extension of time from the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) for the filing of those statements. The reason given for the extension is the completion of an ongoing interim audit of First City Monument Bank Limited, the Group's largest subsidiary, for the period ended September 30, 2026. The company cited the significance of that subsidiary to the Group's consolidated financial results as the basis for the delay.

The Unaudited Financial Statements will be filed upon completion of the interim audit process and, in any event, no later than December 29, 2026, in line with the NGX-approved extension.

Separately, the company confirmed that a closed period began on October 1, 2026. That closed period will remain in effect until twenty-four hours after the Unaudited Financial Statements for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 are released to the public. The Company Secretary, Mrs. Olufunmilayo Adedibu, signed the filing.
