FCMB Group Appoints Adepeju Adebajo as Director

FCMB Group PLC has appointed Adepeju Adebajo as an independent non-executive director on its board, following the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria. Adebajo has over 30 years of experience across multiple industries, including renewable energy, agriculture, finance, and consulting.

She specializes in business transformation and turnaround strategies, with a strong record in strategic development and team leadership, particularly in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) implementation. Adebajo has previously led teams in various sectors, including her roles as CEO of Lafarge Africa, UTC Nigeria, and Mouka Limited, as well as positions at UBA PLC.

Earlier in her career, she worked with the Boston Consulting Group and Citibank in London and New York. Adebajo is also the founder of Pinki Blue Limited and has served in various capacities related to climate sustainability, including with the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on Climate and Natural Resource Governance.

She has completed executive training at prestigious institutions, including Harvard Business School and INSEAD.
