FCMB Receives ISACA Award for Digital Trust Contributions

First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has been recognized by the Lagos Chapter of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) for its significant contributions to technology governance, cybersecurity, risk management, audit, assurance, and digital trust in Nigeria. The award was presented to FCMB's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Yemisi Edun, during ISACA's 30th anniversary celebration held in Lagos on August 21.

She noted the importance of sound governance and cybersecurity as financial services increasingly rely on technology.

ISACA Global CEO, Erik Prusch, acknowledged the expertise of Nigeria's IT and cybersecurity professionals, stressing the need for skilled employees to foster growth and adapt to technological advancements. Justus Osuji, President of the ISACA Lagos Chapter, reflected on the chapter's three decades of service and its impact on information systems auditing and cybersecurity in Nigeria and beyond.
