Isaac Fayose Calls for Spirituality Ahead of 2027 Elections

Isaac Fayose, a businessman, has called on Nigerians to turn to spirituality in preparation for the 2027 elections. His remarks came in response to the outcomes of the recent local government elections in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), which he described as disappointing.

Fayose criticized the electoral process, labeling the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as a "cesspit" of electoral irregularities and malfeasance. He expressed concern that without divine intervention, the political situation in Nigeria would not improve, particularly under the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Fayose's comments reflect a broader sentiment of dissatisfaction among Nigerians regarding the electoral process and governance, urging citizens to seek God's help to facilitate change before the next presidential elections in 2027.
