FCT Police Deploy 2,202 Officers to Secure Worship Centers in Abuja

The FCT Police Command has deployed 2,202 officers to safeguard residents and visitors during the Christmas and New Year celebrations in Abuja. This move is in response to the directive from the Police authorities to enhance security at worship centers and public locations.

The operation includes surveillance of vulnerable areas, routine security sweeps, and the deployment of explosive ordnance disposal units. Residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.

The increased security measures aim to prevent criminal activities during the festive season.
