ADC Candidate Claims Election Victory Before Irregularities

Dr. Mose Paul Ogigi, a candidate from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the Abuja Municipal Area Council election, stated in an interview that he had secured victory by 3 PM on election day.

However, he reported that the situation took a drastic turn, alleging that a curfew was imposed and results were tampered with by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Dr.

Ogigi described the electoral experience as painful and indicative of deep-rooted issues within Nigeria's democratic process. He accused authorities of allowing widespread vote buying and intimidating ADC supporters at various polling units.
