ADC Claims Victory Over APC in FCT Council Election

In the recent FCT Council election, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) achieved a significant victory by winning the first polling unit, specifically polling unit 076 at Sani Abacha Estate in Wuse Zone 4. The ADC candidate, Dr.

Mose Paul, reported a widespread low voter turnout, with only 10 ballots cast, where the ADC secured 7 votes and the APC trailed with 2 votes, while 1 vote was declared invalid. Dr.

Paul attributed the low turnout to intimidation tactics allegedly employed by agents of the APC, who were accused of threatening ADC representatives and attempting to suppress voter participation. Reports indicated that the electoral officials followed due process, but the situation was described as confusing and unwarranted.
