Wike: Tinubu's Timely Funding Supports FCT Development

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, addressed concerns regarding the support from President Bola Tinubu, asserting that he has not abandoned the Federal Capital Territory Administration. Wike emphasized that Tinubu's administration has released funds promptly, which has allowed the ministry to fulfill its responsibilities.

He made these remarks during a program organized by the Nigerian Bar Association, celebrating the 19th day of the commission on June 10th. Wike expressed gratitude for the opportunities provided by the President and noted the importance of timely fund releases for infrastructure development.

He also mentioned that he had previously met with the President to discuss budget approvals, highlighting the need for a supplementary budget to be approved by the National Assembly. Wike's comments reflect ongoing efforts to ensure that the Federal Capital Territory receives adequate funding for development projects.
