Ramadan Packages Delivered to Vulnerable Families in Abaji

On a humanitarian outreach initiative, Dele Bulu Yakubu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Humanitarian Affairs, delivered Ramadan relief packages to vulnerable families in Abaji, Federal Capital Territory. This outreach, conducted in partnership with the Near Foundation, aimed to provide essential food items to support households during Ramadan.

Yakubu emphasized the importance of unity and commitment to grassroots support, acknowledging contributions from partners including the Near Foundation and the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates. Hajia Farida Odeng Suleiman, founder of the Adamushu Aibu Foundation, praised the humanitarian efforts and called for continued support for the government’s initiatives.

The outreach was also commended by HRM Alhaji Dr. Adamu Baba Yunusa, the chairman of Abaji Area Council, who noted the often-overlooked communities outside the city center.

Beneficiaries like Hajia Zainab Abdullahi expressed gratitude for the assistance, highlighting the importance of such support during the fasting period.
