Fenerbahçe Complains About Osimhen's Mask Before Derby

Fenerbahçe has officially filed a complaint with the Turkish Football Federation concerning the protective mask worn by Victor Osimhen, the Napoli striker, ahead of the crucial derby match against Galatasaray. The complaint arises from concerns that the mask could pose a danger to opposing players during the match scheduled for Sunday.

Osimhen, who has previously suffered a serious facial injury, specifically a fractured cheekbone and eye socket, was advised by medical staff to wear the protective gear upon his return to play. This incident follows Osimhen's appearance in a recent match against Galatasaray, where he came off the bench 13 minutes into the game.

Currently, Galatasaray leads the Turkish Super Lig title race with 71 points, four points ahead of Fenerbahçe, with only four matches remaining in the season. The Turkish Football Federation is expected to consider Fenerbahçe's complaint in light of the potential impact on the title race.
