Nigerian Government Enhances Domestic Airlines' Sustainability with New Operational Frameworks

The Nigerian government is prioritizing the sustainability of domestic airlines by leveraging international agreements to support their growth. This was emphasized during a lecture in Lagos by Festus Keyamo, representing the Ministry of Aviation.

Air Peace's CEO, Allen Onyema, highlighted the importance of the Nigeria-UK route, which sees high passenger traffic. The airline has seen steady growth since launching direct Lagos-Gatwick flights in March 2024, prompting the introduction of additional routes.
