Nigerian Film Corporation Celebrates Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham's Box Office Wins

The Nigerian Film Corporation (NFC) honored actresses Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham for their box office achievements. The NFC's Managing Director, Ali Nuhu, announced the recognition on January 26 via Instagram.

Akindele and Abraham's movie, "Oversabi Aunti," crossed the 1 billion mark at the Nigerian box office, making it the fourth highest-grossing movie of all time. Akindele expressed gratitude for the honor, while Abraham thanked NFC for the recognition.

Eniola Badmus also reacted to the news, joking about alleged government funding for her accessories. Badmus, who serves as a Special Assistant to Speaker Tajudeen Abba, became a talking point following the playful exchange with Akindele.
