FG Partners with Climate Caravan for Youth Climate Action

The Federal Ministry of Youth Development, represented by Dr. Maryam Ismaila Keshinro, partnered with Climate Beyond Borders Caravan to advance youth-led climate action initiatives across Africa.

This collaboration aims to address the urgent challenges posed by climate change, which affects livelihoods, food security, public health, migration, and economic stability across the continent. Dr.

Keshinro noted that while young people are among those most affected by climate change, they also serve as strong drivers of innovative and sustainable solutions. The partnership aligns with the ministry's commitment to equip young Nigerians with the necessary skills and knowledge to lead climate action at both community and global levels.

The initiative is designed to promote African unity, environmental stewardship, and youth-driven development advocacy, fostering cross-border partnerships that will nurture a new generation of environmentally conscious African leaders. The ministry also reaffirmed its support for programs that promote green innovation, environmental education, renewable energy awareness, and climate entrepreneurship.
