Nigeria Congratulates Hungary's New Prime Minister Magyar

The Federal Government of Nigeria extended warm congratulations to Hungary’s new Prime Minister, Mr. P.

Ter Magyar, after his inauguration held in the Hungarian Parliament on May 9, 2026. The message was conveyed by Nigeria's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu, through a statement issued on Sunday by the Minister's spokesperson, Kimiebi Ebienfa.

The Nigerian government expressed its best wishes to the newly constituted government as it begins its mandate to serve the Hungarian people. The statement highlighted the significance of this political transition in Hungary's democratic evolution and the importance of democratic participation in strengthening national institutions and public trust.
