The Federal Ministry of Livestock Development highlighted the government's approach of creating an enabling environment for pastoralists to modernize facilities and improve livestock management practices.

Uchechukwu Maiha stressed the need for professionalizing livestock operations in line with global best practices. The government aims to revitalize grazing reserves spanning 4.5 million hectares through partnerships with state governments.
