Federal Government Denies "Kiss-the-Bandits" Policy Allegations by El-Rufai

The Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) refuted the allegations, stating that the government does not engage in ransom payments or inducements to criminals.

ONSA emphasized the government's strategy of combining military operations with community engagement to address local grievances and maintain peace in regions like Igabi, Birnin Gwari, and Giwa in Kaduna State. The statement condemned El-Rufai's remarks, highlighting the sacrifices made by security personnel in combating criminal activities.
