Federal Government Drags Senator Nwebonyi to Court Over Defamatory Remarks

The Federal Government has taken legal action against Senator Peter Onyekachi Nwebonyi for allegedly making defamatory statements against Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan. The charges include multiple malicious statements intended to tarnish Senator Akpoti Uduaghan's reputation.

Senator Nwebonyi is accused of contravening the penal code and faces imprisonment or fines if convicted. The case is scheduled to be heard at the FCT High Court in Abuja.
